1971 Volkswagen Convertible - - TMI Interior - Salt & Pepper • Tweed seats with vinyl backs • Carpet and underlayment - Chuck's Convertible top, pad and headliner • All wood and top bows replaced with solid oak, varnished and sealed • Replaced rear window frame - JVC Stereo AM/FM/CD/USB/Bluetooth • 4 Kicker front speakers • 2 Kicker 6x9 in rear box • 10 Audiobahn subwoofer - not connected, needs an amplifier - Suspension • Front lowered approx. 2 inches • KYB shocks and struts • Tires - 175/55 in front, 205/65 in rear, Less than 5000 miles • Disc brakes on front, drums in the rear - Engine - rebuilt, great performance and driveability • 1776 - runs well on regular fuel • Stock heads mild port and polish • Engle W110 cam, 1.25 rockers, chrome moly pushrods • Points distributor and stock VW carb for reliability • 1.5 quart oil sump and external filter - Paint is about 10 years old, Nissan B7 color • Standox base and clear. Best quality available. 1971 VW Super Beetle Convertible Car was painted 10 years ago, body is in great shape. Interior was redone when paint was done. New seat covers, carpet, top, and headliner. Lowered with BRM wheels and new tires. Disc brakes up front and all new brake components throughout the car. All new suspension bushings. Engine is a fresh built 1776 dual port, W110 cam and 1.25 rockers. It has an oil sump and external filter. Car runs and drives excellent. It's got a great look and stance. Not a concourse restoration, but a very nice driver and shows well at the local cruise-in.
